The Lumenis LightSheer Laser family of lasers have been around for a long time and are considered one of the best and are certainly one of the most popular lasers, especially for laser hair removal, on the market today.

The systems are high powered diode lasers that incorporate short pulses to enable very safe and efficient laser hair removal on all skin types, but is best known for skin types 1-4. Laser hair removal remains the most sought after laser aesthetic treatment in the UK today and the light sheer family of lasers certainly offers one of the gold standards in this area.

The Lumenis LightSheer was one of the first lasers to utilise the chill tip, which is a sapphire crystal that cools downs to offer contact cooling to the patient, great for safety and comfort.

The LightsSheer also offers a mult-application platform that not only treats hair removal but conditions such as:

• Vascular lesions
• PFB - Pseudo-Folliculitis Barbae

This has technology advancements like vacuum-assist and large spot size of 22 x35mm

The duet uses diode lasers in the one system both operating at 800nm. This dual head increases efficiency and speed of operating.
