Certain types of laser and IPL handpieces, mainly diode laser hand-pieces 808nm or 810nm Intense pulsed light handpieces are built differently to true lasers.

All the technology is located in the hand-pieces and not in the main laser unit itself.

The handpieces have a limited number of shots that it can deliver before the performance of that hand-piece is compromised.The performance is compromised as a result of weakening of the lamp within the handpiece. The systems have a built in counter to monitor this and when the counter is full or depleted the hand-piece will no longer work. This is prior to the point at which the efficacy of the treatments would be compromised. 

Currently if this is the case you need to go back to the manufacturer to replace the handpiece of which they will do with a brand new hand-piece and the process starts again. This is an expensive and one of the main reasons people do not by IPL platform systems but opt for true lasers instead.

If we have the hand-piece in stock, you ship your old handpiece to us along with payment.

We ship your new refurbished laser hand-piece directly to you!

If you come back to us again for your next handpiece or for any hand piece that you send us, we will give you £150 off your purchase which helps us replenish our stock.

Your manufacturer is not going to like because you are saving money by not going through them but why should you pay more!
