What does this mean?

Certain types of laser handpieces, mainly diode laser hand-pieces 808nm or 810 or Intense pulsed light hand-pieces, are built very differently to true lasers. in that the hand piece has a limited number of shots that it can deliver before the performance of that hand-piece is compromised. The performance is compromised by a weakening of the lamp within the hand piece and programmed to cease operating before it becomes detrimental to the treatment efficacy.

Currently if this is the case, you need to go back to the manufacturer to replace the hand piece and the process starts again. This is an expensive course of action for the operator (but very profitable for the manufacturer) and one of the main reasons people do not by IPL platform systems but opt for true lasers instead.

You call us and tell us which hand piece you need replacing, normally we will have the hand piece in stock.

If we have the hand piece in stock, you ship your old hand piece to us along with payment.

We ship your new fully refurbished laser hand piece directly to you.

If you come back to us again for your next hand piece or for any hand piece that you send us we will give you £150 off your purchase, what can be easier than this.

Your manufacturer is not going to be happy because you are saving money and not going through them. They have the possibility to do this but choose not too as they make more money off a new hand piece and it takes time to do the refurbishment.
